A few weeks ago, we all broke out of quarantine and held our SECOND Styled Shoot for Photographers at Almost Heaven Barn in Shinnston, WV. We had this shoot planned since our last shoot in March and it could not have come soon enough. The wedding industry has been suffering lately; weddings postposing and changing almost plans daily. It was so nice to have something pretty to shoot without fear of the crowds of a wedding. We had 9 fabulous photographers join us within 2 rounds of shooting so everyone was able to keep socially distant and photograph from their point of view. That, I think, is my favorite things about hosting these SSFP. When the galleries start rolling in afterwards, I get to see through the eyes of so many different photographers. Each of us have our own perspective and style which is amazing for our vendors because they receive a wide variety of images!
Almost Heaven Barn is a new venue in my hometown of Shinnston. The owners are absolutely wonderful and I couldn’t be happier to have this venue so close to home! I had been wanting to plan a shoot at the barn since they first announced the venue so I was ecstatic when they were interested in hosting one of our SSFP.
These styled shoots fill our creative hearts and I’m so happy with how this one turned out. Our vendors were again, TOP NOTCH! But definitely couldn’t have pulled any of this off without the help of Brittany from Brittany Anne’s Events.
