Engagement session season is finally here!! And we kicked it off with Darian and Shawn for their spring engagement session in Morgantown. We tried really hard to take advantage of what was left of the cherry blossoms down at the wharf. They come and go so quickly it’s always a toss up if we’ll be able to catch them in bloom or not! There were a few left and we made it work! I always love shooting down at the Wharf because there is such a good variety of spots for different poses in just a short walking distance. Plus… sidewalks! I love shooting anywhere with sidewalks! They are natural reflectors and great for skintone!

The rain was rolling in so we were rushing to our final location. We got up to one of my favorite field locations and the wind was blowing us every which way! But we finished up just in the knick of time. It started sprinkling on the way home! (Don’t you love when that happens?!) I truly don’t even think you can tell that the rain was coming. Their pretty blue outfit choice was the perfect pop of color!

Darian and Shawn are getting married at the beautiful Bailey Barns Venue in Fairview, WV this September! I already knew I loved Darian but after seeing the both of them together and learning a little bit more about their wedding, I am counting down the days!!
